Indie-pendence Blog Hop and Giveaway

Welcome to the Indie-pendence Blog Hop & Giveaway, hosted by Love Kissed Book Bargains!

My name is Amy and I write steamy contemporary M/M romances! In case you’re new to the genre, all the novels feature two men as the main characters who meet, fall in love, struggle with their new situation, work it out, and the live happily ever after! (All these books contain swearing and open door sex scenes between two men. )

My latest book is City Boy: Hot Off the Ice Book #1. A m/m hockey romance.

Follow the money or follow your heart? Either way, you lose.

When a blown tire leads directly to mind-blowing sex with a white knight named Dakota, pro-hockey player Bryce Lowery discovers he is most definitely gay.

Being with Dakota opens up a whole new world. Bryce can’t imagine life without him. But he refuses to be Bryce’s dirty little secret. If he wants to keep Dakota, he’s either going to have to come out publicly or retire and walk away from millions of dollars.

City Boy is a first time gay, fish out of water, May/December love story with a happy ending. It features snarky siblings, a dirty-talking farmer, lots of food, and big choices. (No poultry was harmed in the making of this book.

Yes, I have read M/M and enjoy it. Love is Love, Romance is Romance, as long as the story is well written I enjoy all romance genres.

I don’t know that one! But now I have to find it. Oh, it’s out of print, and now you’re just teasing me! Some of my first exposure to a gay main couple were the Valdemar books by Mercedes Lackey. And now I want to buy them all again as well. They have been lost somewhere in one of my many, many moves.

If you do, I would love to hear what you think! When people do and love them, they always remember their first very fondly. Mine was “Beneath the Stain” by Amy Lane. I highly recommend it.

Oh, please let me know if you do and what you think of it. I’m always so curious. I’m full of suggestions, too!

I have read many of them. As long as it is a good story, I don’t care who is involved but I really need a good story line.

What are some of your favorite story lines? I always like mulit-layered characters and complex situations. I don’t like when the problem between the characters could be solved with a good conversation.

You might want to give one a try. I know many people who came from mainstream romance and now they are full steam ahead!

I went from Harlequin to Silhouette, from mf romance to mf paranormal, from mfm to mm to mmm and can’t stop! I’m a beta reader for a couple authors and I read all the ARC’s I can get my hands on. I currently have over 2,000 books, between my wish list or Kindle, and the huge majority are mm. I think the story lines are so much richer and the plots more complete than those with mf characters. Once you get started on a series you can’t stop. The Veteran’s Affairs series are fantastic. Love your work.

Actually I haven’t. I never thought about reading MM before, guess there’s so much MF out there and promoted so much that it never really occurred to me.
